Is the sender really anonymous?
Yes. We never ask for your name, email, or account. We don't store your IP linked to messages. The recipient sees the message body — nothing else.
What does the $1 pay for?
Delivery of the message via email or SMS, plus the ability for the recipient to reply back to you (unlimited times) on the same conversation. Your follow-ups are free.
How does the recipient reply without knowing who I am?
We give you a private inbox link after you pay. The recipient writes their reply on a page that only knows the conversation, not the sender. Their reply lands in your private inbox.
Can I lose access to my inbox?
Yes — your inbox link is a secret URL. Save it (bookmark it, copy it, screenshot it). If you lose it, we cannot recover it for you. That's the price of true anonymity.
Can the recipient figure out who I am?
Not from anything we show them. Be careful what you write, though — context in the message itself can give you away.
Is this legal / can I send anything?
Don't send threats, harassment, or illegal content. We will cooperate with law enforcement on serious abuse. Be kind.
